Why attend

From knowledge to real-world impact.

Agile Project Management addresses the challenge of rapidly changing project requirements and stakeholder demands. Traditional project management methods often fall short in these scenarios, leading to missed deadlines, budget overruns, and unsatisfied clients. This course equips participants with Agile principles and practices, enabling them to adapt and respond effectively to changes throughout the project lifecycle. Participants will learn to implement iterative planning, manage stakeholder expectations, and enhance team collaboration, which are critical for delivering successful projects in fast-paced environments. By mastering these skills, professionals can significantly improve their project outcomes and client satisfaction.

Practical exercises simulate real-world project scenarios, allowing participants to apply Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban. They will learn to facilitate Agile ceremonies, prioritise backlogs, and deliver incremental value to stakeholders. Additionally, participants will engage in risk assessment and mitigation strategies, ensuring that potential issues are addressed proactively. By mastering these capabilities, participants will enhance their project delivery skills, improve team dynamics, and ultimately contribute to the success of their organisations. The course emphasises the importance of continuous improvement and adaptability, ensuring that participants are well-prepared to lead Agile teams effectively and drive project success.

Workplace challenges

Professional Problems This Course Is Designed to Solve

The programme explores practical approaches to the following challenges. Results depend on how the learning is applied in your organisation.

  • Delivery plans that cannot adapt to changing requirements.
  • Backlogs without clear priorities or useful acceptance criteria.
  • Team practices that do not support feedback and incremental delivery.
Course methodology

How you will learn.

The course employs a blend of interactive workshops, case studies, and hands-on simulations to build participants' Agile capabilities. Each day includes practical exercises where participants will work in teams to solve project challenges using Agile methodologies. For instance, they will create user stories, manage sprint backlogs, and conduct retrospectives. Learning evidence includes the creation of project artefacts such as user stories, sprint backlogs, and project plans, which participants will develop and refine throughout the course. This approach ensures that participants not only learn the theory behind Agile but also gain the practical skills necessary to implement Agile practices in their own projects.
